A good Muslimah is the one who thank Allah for what He has blessed her with and she is thankful to her husband for what he provides her with. Abu Hurairah RadhiyAllahu Anhu reported: The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Richness is not the abundance of wealth, rather it is self-sufficiency.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

"Kawan memecut motosikal dengan cermat. Balik dari hospital.Meredah jalanraya di malam hari. Gelap betul. Lampu jalan pun jarang-jarang kelihatan.Aku membonceng di belakang. Tiba-tiba di hadapan ada sekatan jalanraya. Ada polis.Oh. Bukan. Ada kemalangan di hadapan. Sebab itu ada polis.Kami sampai di tempat kejadian. Kawasan tu agak sunyi. Kenderaan pun jarang lalu situ.Mungkin kami antara yang terawal tiba. Nasib baik ada abang polis trafik lalu.Kawanku memberhentikan motosikal. Aku gigil sikit lutut. Tengok darah mengalir di atas jalan. Penunggang motosikal ni. Macam kes langgar lari saja. Sebab tiada kenderaan lain di situ kelihatan. Motosikal je berderai. Penunggang dah nyawa-nyawa ikan. Kaki sebelah entah ke mana. Patah tulang.Aku gagal menapak menghampiri mangsa. Gerun. Takut. Tak biasa. Tiada siapa nak tolong mangsa. Polis pun tengah sibuk hubungi ambulans dan kawal lalu lintas.Kawanku meluru ke arah mangsa. Aku terpaku melihat dia memangku kepala mangsa dan meribanya. Perlahan-perlahan diajarnya mengucap syahadah. Mangsa tercungap-cungap mengucapkan sesuatu pada kawanku.Tak lama kemudian, mangsa diam. Innalillahi wainna ilaihi raaji’un.Kawanku mengambil sesuatu dari poket seluar mangsa. Henfon dan dompet. Ku lihat dia menekan-nekan fon tersebut. Dari dompet, dilihatnya IC. Kemudian, dia serahkan pada polis dan bercakap-cakap sesuatu dengan polis. Datang ke arahku. ""Dia cakap apa dekat kau?"" Tergesa-gesa aku bertanya.""Dia suruh aku balas mesej mak dia. Tadi, tengah dia bawa motor. Mak dia mesej. Hampir nak pitam. Disambut deraian air mata.**Dalam perjalanan pulang, kami banyak berdiam diri. Aku lihat air mata mengalir di pipi kawanku. Aku pun sama.Kawanku bersuara sayup-sayup kedengaran,""Bila kali terakhir kau mohon maaf pada orang tua kau?""""Bila kali terakhir kita mohon ampun pada Allah? Sampai bila kita nak dingin pada Allah?”“Bagai tertusuk duri.Esok belum pasti. Mati itu pasti. Kesudahan aku? Kesudahan kita?Siapa tahu. Aku pun tak tahu.”

    lionofallah:

"And if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily, man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate who denies Allah’s Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihe wasallam)."
[Surah Ibrahim, 14: 34]
"And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help."
[Surah Al-Nahl, 16: 53]
Therefore, it is incumbent upon all Muslims to thank Allah (may He be Praised) for these bounties and to avoid being ungrateful.
Allah says while mentioning the bounties He bestows upon His servants:
"And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah)."
[Surah Al-Nahl, 16: 78]
